This tutorial covers the process to download Windows 10 for free through the insider preview. It covers how you can get the 32  bit (x86) and 64 bit (x64) versions in the .iso file format. You can then proceed with installation. The installation process is not covered in this tutorial and shall be dealt with in another tutorial and link shall be provided here as soon as that is ready. 32bit verison is of 3GB 
64bit version is of 4GB

Free Download of Windows 10

Windows 10 can be downloaded from here. the details are mentioned below for steps to be followed for the same. It is fairly a straightforward process :
  1. Sign-in to windows account ( or register for a new account)
  2. Sign-up for the Windows Insider program
  3. Select the Windows 10 version to download
  4. Download Windows 10
All the steps are discussed below in detail. Just follow the step and you shall start the download in 2 minutes only. For power users, this tutorial may not be required at all and you can skip to the download tutorial.

Precautions and warnings

All right, it's not that you are being scared to not install Windows 10 but certain warnings are given from the side of Microsoft which should be followed at any cost :



The gist of the warnings are that you should install Windows 10 preview verison if you know your way around the system.

The steps required :

1. Once you open the download link, you should see this screen.Click on the link marked in yellow:




 2. Next screen, click on Get started. 

3.Next you need to log in (or register if you don't have a windows account)



  
4. Click on Continue



 5. Now you shall reach this screen (just hold on, few steps more!). Just scroll down and click on Get the preview. 



6. Now pay special attention. You can either click on Start upgrade now bubut I recommend that you DONT do that ! 







7.Click on download the ISO files and then you shall go the next screen:

8. Now click on Download  but before you do that check whether your system supports 64bit & have 4Gb or more of RAM? if yes then go for 64bit else download the 32bit version.


If you shall test it in a virtual box/ VMWARE then also go for 32bit as it is easier on the simulated system.
