How to check windows version?
Here you can see how you can check out which version of windows you are using. There are two methods which are listed below . The first method is longer but simpler to remember and second method is shorter but you need to remember the code. Take your pick:
Longer method ( click based)
Click on the start button then right click on Computer or My computer
Now click on Properties. This will take you to the next screen
On this screen look for Windows edition (windows version) on the top side of page. This will give you the information required.
Shorter method (command based)
This process takes less time. Just press Windows + R
This will open the run window. Here you need to type the following then press enter key
winver.exe

winver
