While, it comes as a default option on many phones and tablets as a bundled software, it is a complete suite in itself. Though it lack PDF support, it encompasses other office facets of spreadsheets, word document and presentation. There are certain formatting issues with the app. In terms of storage, there is option for cloud storage but we found that it's buggy and there were some files that got deleted randomly. 

 4. OfficeSuite 8 + PDF

 

Loaded with lots of features and makes this a power packed office suite. The Officesuite 7 comes with inbuilt support for PDF files and one can even convert between office and pdf files but it is a paid feature. Even one can add password security to files but that's a paid feature too. Also another disadvantage is that the paid version comes with not much upgrade over the free one and does not deserve the price tag of $15.

 3. WPS office

This office suite too comes preinstalled on many phones and is pretty much doable as far as android mobile office app goes. It works seemlessly with files right from docx to pptx, xlsx and even pdf. It's pdf viewer is so good that one does not need any separate pdf reader after that. In terms of regional support it is outstanding too, with support of over 44 languages. You can even connect it to multiple cloud networks like evernote, dropbox and DLNA. Another plus point is that unlike some other softwares, you need not have any in-app purchase for extra features as everything comes free!

2. Microsoft Office mobile

Microsoft was way too reluctant to launch the android version(especially for free) initially as it wanted to push it's Windows mobile platform. However with the introduction of Microsoft office mobile as a free android office app, the game has gotten interesting. Having the advantage of being industry pioneers, Microsoft app could have quelled the competition easily but they are not focussed enough on capturing the mobile office market yet. It is evident in the forceful implementation of the OneDrive storage and a microsoft account to use this app. Though you get a 15GB free storage online and if you primarily have been working on MS office products then it's a good option. One major thing holding MS Office mobile is the lack of support for tablets. 

1. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive

Google has been changing it's strategy for mobile office apps since inception and current one too seems like an experiment. Currently Google offers individual apps for Documents, Spreadsheets and Presentation as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides as free android mobile office apps. All work effortlessly with most features that one would demand for usage. Best thing is the integration with the Google drive and everything syncs with the drive seamlessly. You can also install the note keeping app, Google Keep which is also a nifty little tool from play store. Another pro is that if you just need to make presentations then you can install the Slides app individually and similarly for Sheets and Docs.
