Harley is not producing 250cc & 300cc bikes : It's official now!

A recent article published in the economic times took everyone by surprise,when it stated that the Harley Davidson India was planning to produce two models with 250cc and 300cc capacities. The whispers in the auto world run wild, of course superseded in canardness only by rumors spread in the entertainment-world.

There has been official confirmation by HD India regarding their strong disposition to produce only 'muscle bike' and not puny machines that tarnish their image as premium cruiser motorcycle makers. It is evident that HD India is going to put on display it's latest offering, the 'Street 750' and Street 500' models this auto expo at New Delhi's Pragati maidan in 2014. These bike are to be built in India (CKD) at their plant in Gurgaon. The 750cc model is speculated to carry a price tag of Rs4.75 lakhs and the 500cc model may be priced at around Rs4.25 lakhs. Royal Enfield is sure to be intimidated by the stance of HD India but how the Indian market will respond, only time can tell.
